Job summary

Applied Aerospace & Defense is seeking a QA professional in Stockton, CA to oversee AS9100 and Nadcap compliance and support the Material Test Lab. This full-time, non-exempt role requires coordinating internal audits, managing QA documentation, and assisting with third-party audits under the QA Director.

Ideal candidates will have a technical degree, strong MS Office and database skills, and excellent communication and organization abilities to ensure quality objectives are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred.
• Experience in an office environment preferred.
• Strong computer skills and MS Office proficiency required.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
• Good people skills and listening ability.

Responsibilities

• Manage internal audits per AS9100 schedule.
• Chairs/Supports Corrective Action Board under QA Director.
• Manage QA system document revisions in the database.
• Oversee testing cycles performed by Operations (SAT).
• Calibration Certification of Compliance review per PO requirements.
• Archive-focused activities: scan Work Orders.
• Conduct FOD audits supporting Quality Objectives.
• Audit Work Orders in production environments.
• Support Material Test Lab daily sample pickup and results distribution.
• Assist with 3rd Party audits as required by QA Director.
