Job summary

Micro-Coax, an Amphenol Company, is seeking an R&D Qualification Engineer to plan, coordinate, and oversee qualification and validation activities for new and established products in line with customer requirements and engineering drawings.

You will work with Sales, Planning, and external labs to develop QTPs/ATPs, manage timelines, and ensure on-time testing and product launches while adhering to MIL specs and program requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, cable assembly, or regulated industries preferred.
• Experience supporting qualification, validation, testing, or project management.
• Familiarity with military specifications and qualification testing a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate qualification and validation activities.
• Coordinate external testing with labs and quote costs.
• Develop qualification timelines and manage NRE activities.
• Generate QTPs and ATPs per drawings and requirements.
• Provide qualification status updates to leadership.
• Collaborate with design, assembly, and production for on-time launches.
