Job summary

Alloy Precision Technologies seeks a QA Inspector to ensure components, processes, and procedures meet internal and external specifications. You will assist daily operations in the Quality Assurance Department and work closely with engineers and production teams.

The role requires 5+ years in aerospace quality inspection and familiarity with RCCA tools (5-Why, 8-D). You will read drawings, use precision instruments, and contribute to continuous improvement programs on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years quality inspection experience in aerospace manufacturing or equivalent.
• Understanding of RCCA and problem-solving tools (5-Why, 8-D, Fishbone).
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect manufactured parts and welded assemblies for conformance to drawings and specs.
• Use measuring instruments and test equipment (micrometers, calipers, height stands, comparator) for inspections.
• Review inspection results with cross-functional teams including engineers and managers.
• Investigate and report causes of dimensional and process non-conformances.
• Recommend corrective and preventive actions to improve product/process quality.
• Participate in QA program development and implementation.
• Conduct audits of manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Inspect incoming materials and components.
• Prepare detailed reports of findings.
• Maintain calibration records and stay current with aerospace tech developments.
• Ensure procedures are followed and documentation is complete.
• Assist in calibration program upkeep.
• Other duties as required.
