Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Sr. Manager, Quality Assurance in Carson City, NV to lead the site Quality function and drive safety, compliance, and high-quality aerospace manufacturing and repair operations.

You will oversee Quality Engineers, Supervisors, Lab Technicians, NDT, Compliance, and Inspectors, directing QMS, audits, and continuous improvement, while mentoring talent and partnering with Operations and Engineering to elevate product quality and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of aerospace or industrial gas turbine engineering, manufacturing, repair, or quality leadership experience.
• Experience leading large teams across multiple levels.
• Knowledge of AS9100 and FAA/EASA/CAAC requirements.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a multi-level Quality organization.
• Establish quality objectives, policies, and performance expectations.
• Own and improve the site's QMS ensuring AS9100, FAA, EASA, CAAC, and customer requirements.
• Lead internal audits, corrective actions, and root cause analysis.
• Partner with Operations and Engineering to improve product quality and process capability.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma implementations.
• Lead customer and regulatory interactions, audits, and reviews.
• Develop supplier quality strategies and oversee supplier qualification.
• Analyze quality metrics to drive improvements and data-driven decisions.
• Provide strategic leadership for new product introduction and process validation.
