Job summary

EPS Corporation is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Inspector to support inspection and quality control of precision-fabricated components for DoD programs. You will perform in-process and final inspections, ensure dimensional and visual compliance, and maintain traceability of materials and documentation.

The role requires a high school diploma with 3–5 years in aerospace/defense QA, familiarity with AS9102 FAI, GD&T, and standard measurement tools. U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a relevant field preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in quality inspection within an AS9100 or ISO 9001 manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace/defense.
• Strong understanding of GD&T, mechanical drawings, and inspection methodologies.
• Proficiency in using standard measurement instruments and tools.
• Familiarity with AS9102 FAI requirements and document control practices.
• Knowledge of government contracts, DoD standards, and ITAR/EAR compliance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to document findings clearly.
• U.S. Citizenship required due to government contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections on fabricated metal and composite parts, assemblies, and subassemblies per drawings and work instructions.
• Interpret and apply AS9100D, MIL-STD, and customer quality requirements throughout the inspection process.
• Verify dimensional and visual compliance using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMMs.
• Complete inspection records, NCRs, and FAI documentation per AS9102.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Production to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
• Maintain traceability with CoC, MTRs, and manufacturing travelers.
• Participate in internal audits and support CAPA initiatives.
• Adhere to quality system procedures, work instructions, and safety regulations.
