Job summary

Dassault Falcon Jet is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to draft and negotiate purchasing agreements, conduct RFPs/RFQs, and manage supplier relations as part of the Dassault Group processes. You will reduce material costs and coordinate with multiple departments to align supplier capabilities with program needs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years in purchasing, strong negotiation skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Some travel may be required in this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or relevant field.
• Three (3) years’ experience in purchasing field.
• Understanding of methods, practices and techniques of contract negotiations.
• Understanding of purchasing practices and procedures, preferably with the general business aviation industry or aerospace industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for all commercial contacts with assigned suppliers.
• Conduct RFPs, RFQs and contracts negotiations per DFJ processes.
• Support development of contracts with Legal for Materials & Purchasing.
• Ensure suppliers meet contractual obligations and manage recovery plans/damages.
• Coordinate with Quality, Production, Programs and Engineering to align supplier constraints.
• Document and resolve disputes with suppliers.
• Reduce costs of materials under responsibility.
• Source alternate vendors for cost savings.
• Support RFIs, RFQs and RFPs for completions activities.
