Job summary

Astranis Space Technologies Corp. in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Propulsion Technician, Tube Bending to join our satellite production team.

You will program and operate a CNC tube bender, prepare components for welding, and manage thousands of propulsion parts while performing dimensional inspections. The role requires GD&T knowledge, ability to read technical drawings, and willingness to travel for vendor visits and training.

Qualifications

• Ability to program CNC equipment and operate fabrication tools.
• Ability to interpret drawings, test plans and procedures.
• Ability to operate cranes and handling equipment.
• Willing to work all shifts, overtime and weekends as required.
• Willing to travel to vendor visits and trainings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support propulsion hardware production.
• Operate and maintain CNC tube bending and metal fabrication tools.
• Manage inventory and material traceability of propulsion components.
• Perform dimensional and quality inspections on components and assemblies.
• Follow processes, complete paperwork, and provide feedback to authors.
• Identify and procure capital equipment and manage installation and commissioning.
• Be a versatile contributor across the factory and learn new skills.
