Job summary

Real Time Consulting is seeking a Project Engineer - Aerospace in the Phoenix, AZ area to manage the technical aspects of a project and lead engineering development activities. The PE will balance schedule, cost, and technical goals, coordinating cross-functional teams and interfacing with customers to meet rigorous aerospace requirements.

Ideal candidates will have strong leadership, problem solving, and communication skills, and will drive the project from inception through entry-into-service

Qualifications

Experience leading cross-functional teams to advocate program needs and priorities.
Experience interfacing with customers on technical and contractual requirements.
Ability decomposing business case and customer contract requirements into WBS elements; support Basis of Estimates and IMS.
Familiar with DO-254, DO-160, and ARP-4754.
Ability to allocate resources, assign tasks, and drive completion with accountability.

Responsibilities

Manage technical aspects of a specific project and ensure targets are met.
Coordinate engineering resources; lead development activities across lifecycle stages.
Direct planning, scheduling, and risk management to keep the project on plan.
Serve as liaison between engineering leadership and the project team to secure needed support.
