Job summary

Amca, based in El Segundo, is hiring a Program Manager to lead advanced aerospace programs from concept to delivery. You will be the primary interface with U.S. Government customers and internal engineering teams, owning schedules, commitments, and mission success.

This hands-on leadership role operates in a fast-scaling startup environment, guiding multiple programs of varying sizes. You will work at the intersection of engineering, program management, and customer engagement to ensure program

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or Systems Engineering.
• Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
• 6+ years of aerospace, defense, or national security program experience.
• US citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Deep familiarity with US Government acquisition processes and contracting.

Responsibilities

• Lead program leadership as the primary customer interface and align requirements with technology roadmap.
• Manage cost, schedule, and technical performance from contract award through deployment.
• Lead proposal efforts and contract negotiations ensuring feasibility and compliance with FAR/DFARS.
• Collaborate with engineering to translate mission needs into product requirements and changes.
• Lead program reviews, present schedules, and maintain government relationships.
• Identify and mitigate program risks; maintain schedule fidelity under tight timelines.
• Shape opportunities by collaborating with government and industry partners.
