Job summary

The Atlas Group seeks an Engineering Program Manager to lead complex aerospace manufacturing programs from contract award through production and delivery. You will serve as the primary liaison among engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, and customers, driving execution and ensuring schedule, cost, and performance targets are met.

You will manage risks, negotiate with stakeholders, and mentor cross-functional teams while maintaining program governance and reporting to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related) is required.
• MBA or similar is preferred for advanced program management.
• 5+ years in aerospace/defense or advanced manufacturing is expected.
• 5+ years in program/project management and cross-functional leadership is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional engineering programs from proposal through production launch.
• Develop and maintain integrated program plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate activities to achieve design, development, testing, qualification, and production objectives.
• Facilitate program reviews and status meetings with stakeholders.
• Monitor performance against cost, schedule, quality, and technical objectives.
• Serve as primary engineering point of contact for customers and stakeholders.
• Support customer reviews, technical discussions, and program status updates.
• Coordinate resource requirements and workload planning with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Manufacturing.
• Drive program risk mitigation and issue resolution; maintain risk registers.
• Track budgets, labor utilization, and program performance metrics.
• Support proposal development, estimates, and business case evaluations.
