Quantum Space is seeking a highly motivated Project Controller to oversee financial performance across spacecraft development programs. You will partner with Program Management, Engineering, Finance, and Manufacturing to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and strategic alignment.

The role emphasizes budgeting, forecasting, EACs, and value-driven analyses in a fast-paced aerospace environment. Located in Rockville, MD or Hawthorne, CA, with competitive compensation and equity opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in project controls, program finance, cost management, or related fields.
• Experience with complex engineering or aerospace programs preferred.
• Strong financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and financial analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project budgets, schedules, and baselines across multiple programs.
• Establish project performance metrics, milestones, and execution plans with Program Managers.
• Monitor cost, schedule, and technical performance against baselines; identify risks and corrective actions.
• Prepare EACs, cash flow projections, and financial analyses for program execution.
• Support monthly financial reporting, variance analysis, and executive reviews.
