Job summary

PPG Industries is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for our Grand Prairie, TX facility. You will coordinate production processes, lead troubleshooting, scheduling, and supply chain activities across cell areas, and interact with production staff and plant leadership to drive safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of manufacturing supervision experience.
• Experience in Aerospace manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of MRP systems and lean manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Achieve production objectives through planning to meet schedules and quality.
• Supervise shift production teams and ensure compliance with policies.
• Review work instructions for accuracy and suggest changes.
• Identify production issues and provide reports for process improvement.
• Coordinate work schedules, staffing, and production sequences.
• Set daily/weekly goals with scheduling and communicate blockers.
• Coordinate with Procurement to ensure timely material supply.
• Complete production plan by scheduling staffing and priorities.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
