PPG Industries, Inc in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a Senior Production Supervisor to coordinate production processes, lead troubleshooting, scheduling, and supply chain activities on the day shift onsite. You will report to the F-35 Operations Manager and drive production efficiency while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires 5+ years of manufacturing supervision, knowledge of MRP systems, Lean manufacturing, and aerospace quality familiarity.

Qualifications

5+ years of manufacturing supervision experience.
Experience in aerospace/defense preferred.
Knowledge of MRP systems.
Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience.
Understanding of aerospace quality systems and airworthiness standards is a bonus.
May need to work some Saturdays, minor variation in the schedule(s), and additional hours as needed.

Responsibilities

Achieve production objectives through accurate planning to meet schedules and high-quality output.
Supervise shift production teams and ensure safety, health, and environmental standards.
Drive continuous improvement and align training programs.
Review work instructions to ensure accurate shop floor guidance.
Identify production issues and provide reports for process improvement.
Coordinate staffing, schedules, and production sequences to improve efficiency.
Communicate requirements with Procurement to meet material needs.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Coordinate with engineering to minimize production interruptions.
Meet tight production schedules to achieve high-rate production.
