Job summary

Blue Origin in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead the development and qualification of manufacturing processes for a new advanced hardware program. This greenfield environment supports equipment selection through process qualification and ramp to production.

You will establish and maintain quality system processes, participate in design reviews, perform MSA and SPC, lead root cause investigations, and drive continuous improvement with Lean Six Sigma methodologies. U.S.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. in engineering or equivalent STEM degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Quality assurance experience in production environments in aerospace or related fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish, implement, maintain, and enforce quality system processes that support products in development and production environments.
• Measure, analyze, and improve quality system performance.
• Participate in engineering design reviews (DFx) and make recommendations to improve quality and manufacturability.
