Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Logistics Assistant to support production scheduling, inventory management, capacity planning, and data analysis. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow and ensure material availability for on-time delivery.

You will monitor inventory, partner with procurement, and use ERP systems and Power BI to drive improvements in production planning and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years in production planning, manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, or related field.
• Experience in aerospace or similar industries preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and Excel proficiency; experience with ERP, Power BI, SQL or similar tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts and priorities.
• Adjust schedules to meet changing demand and resource constraints.
• Monitor inventory of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Collaborate with procurement to ensure material availability for schedules.
• Coordinate with operations, engineering, and other teams to align plans.
• Communicate status, changes, and issues to stakeholders.
• Analyze capacity and utilization to support on-time delivery.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive improvements with operations.
• Utilize ERP, Power BI, and planning tools to analyze data and metrics.
• Prepare reports and provide recommendations from data analysis.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.
