Job summary

Chromalloy Gas Turbine, LLC is seeking a Production Operator to support the manufacturing and repair of aerospace components in a fast-paced production environment. This role involves production, cleaning, assembly, and processing tasks while following standardized work instructions, quality requirements, and safety practices.

We require a high school diploma or GED, basic mechanical aptitude, and the ability to communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English across instructions and safety procedures.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment and manufacturing machinery.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and manufacturing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Cross-train and perform production operations across multiple manufacturing areas.
• Use hand tools, power tools, machinery, and shop equipment to prepare, clean, process, repair, and assemble aerospace components.
• Follow work instructions and procedures to cut, shape, bond, form, inject, cure, trim, drill, and repair composite and metal parts.
• Perform chemical cleaning and surface preparation processes.
• Conduct hand cleaning operations including acid etch, sanding, blending, and deburring.
• Use measuring and inspection tools to verify quality requirements.
