Job summary

The Gill Corporation is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a high‑volume production team in El Monte, CA. You will ensure safe operations, oversee staff performance, and coordinate with planning to meet schedules while focusing on quality and continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will drive lean initiatives, manage safety programs, and foster a motivated crew committed to meeting production goals and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of supervisory experience in a high-volume production environment.
• Aerospace industry experience preferred.
• Fabrication/assembly experience in manufacturing; composites knowledge preferred.
• Experience implementing Lean Six Sigma and 5S.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operations and that safety equipment is functioning.
• Oversee Lead staff and assist when needed; monitor department performance.
• Coordinate with Planning to meet the production schedule; communicate with other departments.
• Maintain quality by stopping production for questionable material; avoid scrap to meet deadlines.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality and processes; lead by example.
