Job summary

Ducommun is seeking a Production Assembler on a temporary-to-hire basis at our St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin facility. The role involves assembling, inspecting, documenting, and testing units per product specifications, with line-based tasks and varying models as production moves along the line.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, inspect, document and test simple and complex assemblies.
• Place parts in specified relationship to each other.
• Bolts, clips, screws, cements or otherwise fastens parts together.
• Tends manual machines, such as arbor presses or riveting machine, to perform force fitting or fastening operations on assembly line.
• Works at different work stations as production needs require.
• Works on a line where tasks vary as different models of the same article moves along the line.
• Follow policies and procedures; supports organization's goals and values.
• Observes safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly.
