Job summary

TAT Technologies' Greensboro site seeks a Product Support Engineer to support engineering toward repair schemes and CAD data for FAA-DER approvals. This role offers involvement from design to shop floor integration with cross-functional coordination.

Qualifications

• BS, Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Strong understanding of materials, engineering principles, production methods, and quality standards.
• SolidWorks experience.
• Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, and design for manufacturability.
• Understanding of inspection and measuring equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent analytical and project management skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication, including technical writing.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the shop with part/component overhaul.
• Design and develop repair schemes and repair processes for customer and FAA-DER approval.
• Develop and implement CAD data to support repair development.
• Coordinate with machine shop for prototype development.
• Incorporate newly designed repairs into shop procedures (travelers).
• Coordinate with current vendors to support repair development.
• Coordinate with machine shop, quality and purchasing on new part/component orders.
• Prepare and maintain part/component travelers, process flow charts and reports.
