Job summary

Bell Textron in Amarillo, TX is seeking a Supply Chain Procurement Professional to secure timely delivery of materials for aircraft production and new programs. You will interface with subcontractors and internal teams to manage subcontracts and purchase orders, driving cost reduction and supplier performance.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Quality and Operations to negotiate complex terms and ensure compliance. Travel up to 25% and cross-functional teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in strategic sourcing or commodity management.
• BS/BA degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or similar.
• Ability to travel up to 25% yearly.
• Interest in parts acquisitions and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain subcontracts and support purchase order management.
• Negotiate complex subcontracts, financial terms, technical terms, and conditions with major suppliers.
• Collaborate with quality, engineering, manufacturing and IPTs to understand business needs.
• Follow approved purchasing procedures and ensure contractual compliance.
• Manage open order reports and ensure timely delivery of supplies.
• Create long- and short-term plans with milestone targets and deadlines.
