Job summary

Gulfstream is seeking a Procurement Specialist: Aerospace Components in Savannah, GA. You will execute purchase orders for complex aerospace commodities and manage supplier performance, negotiating favorable terms with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include developing sourcing strategies, administering contracts, and supporting make-versus-buy decisions while ensuring compliance with AS9100 and ITAR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business administration or related field; equivalent education and experience considered.
• 4+ years procurement, supply chain, or related experience required.
• Experience managing complex commodities, competitive sourcing events, and supplier agreements.
• Proven success in sourcing strategies, cost savings, and supplier performance improvements.

Responsibilities

• Executes purchase orders for complex/high-value components.
• Administers complex contracts and contract changes.
• Provides work direction to junior procurement staff.
• Leads negotiations to achieve cost savings and favorable terms.
• Interprets program and statement-of-work requirements.
• Partners with engineering, operations, quality and program management.
• Develops sourcing strategies and supports make-versus-buy decisions.
