Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Savannah, GA is seeking a purchasing professional to procure aerospace parts and materials for our completions group, supporting interior build specifications and customer requirements. Under limited supervision, you will solicit quotes, evaluate bids, negotiate delivery schedules, prepare purchase orders and administer supplier contracts within budget.

You will monitor supplier performance, ensure compliance with AS9100/ITAR, and collaborate with Engineering,

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in supply chain, business administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
2 years Procurement, supply chain or related experience.
Master's Degree may offset 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

Develops sources of supply and obtains supplier data such as price and delivery dates.
Solicits quotes, conducts bid evaluations, negotiates delivery schedules and terms.
Prepares purchase orders and administers contracts within budget.
Monitors supplier performance and resolves quality, delivery, and cost issues.
Ensures procurement activities comply with AS9100, ITAR and aerospace standards.
Collaborates with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance.
Maintains procurement records and supports audits.
