Job summary

Gulfstream in Dallas is seeking a Buyer to source aerospace parts and materials for our completions group, supporting interior build requirements. The role focuses on supplier selection, price and delivery negotiations, and long-term agreements to meet customer specifications.

The ideal candidate will have basic purchasing experience, aviation familiarity, and exposure to SAP/Corridor. This full-time position requires reading and communicating in English and may involve up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in supply chain, business administration or related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
• 2 years Procurement, supply chain or related experience.
• Master's Degree may offset 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops sources of supply and obtains information from suppliers concerning product and/or service specifications, price, delivery dates, etc.
• Solicits quotes, conducts bid evaluations, evaluates costs, negotiates optimum delivery schedules and ensures best overall value.
• Prepares definitive purchase orders, including terms and conditions, makes award, administers contracts within budgetary limitations.
• Monitors supplier performance and resolves issues related to quality, delivery, and cost.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with AS9100, ITAR, and other aerospace standards.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and support audits and reporting requirements.
• Assists in planning and reviewing the work of Procurement Spec.

Buyer in GAC Dallas

The position will be purchasing parts and materials for our completions group. Our completions teams focus on the interior build of the aircraft and customer specifications and needs for the interior. The Dallas location is becoming a premiere hub completions for several of our newest aircrafts. Ideal candidate will have basic purchasing experience. Aviation and/or SAP/Corridor experience is nice to have.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions

• Develops sources of supply and obtains information from suppliers concerning product and/or service specifications, price, delivery dates, etc. and ensures all applicable data is current at supplier .
• Solicits quotes, conducts bid evaluations, evaluates costs, negotiates optimum delivery schedules and ensures the best combination of price, quantity discount, product quality, standard terms and conditions, and where appropriate, supports the establishment of long-term agreements such as Master Orders and Blanket Purchase Agreements .
• Prepares definitive purchase orders, including terms and conditions, makes award, administers contracts with suppliers within budgetary limitations, and ensures schedules are met .
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, and cost .
• Ensure procurement activities comply with AS9100, ITAR, and other aerospace standards .
• Collaborate with internal departments including Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance .
• Maintain accurate procurement records and support audits and reporting requirements .
• Assists in planning and reviewing the work of Procurement Spec, where appropriate.
