Responsibilities

• Maintain supplier relationships to ensure high-quality materials, pricing and lead times.
• Identify and support cost-reduction initiatives in procurement.
• Execute purchasing processes in line with company buy/supply/pay practices.
• Assist with forecasting component and material consumption for production needs.
• Maintain adequate inventory levels with planners and operations.
• Collaborate with Shipping, Processing, Engineering, Production Control and Quality to resolve issues.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and lead times with suppliers.
• Coordinate return-to-vendor (RTV) transactions and address nonconforming materials.
