Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Supply Chain/Procurement Manager to lead procurement for large BOMs of complex electrical components in the Aerospace/Defense sector. You will oversee production planning, warehouse management, and inventory control while implementing cost-reduction strategies and ensuring FAR/D-FAR compliance.

The role requires 7+ years in supply chain within engineering, direct-report leadership, and experience with high-mix, low-volume environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in supply chain management in the Engineering industry.
• Experience managing direct reports with supply chain and operations.
• Aerospace/Defense industry experience is a must.
• Experience in high-mix, low-volume environments with complex components.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the entire supply chain process, including production planning, warehouse management, inventory control, shipping and receiving.
• Develop and implement cost reduction strategies to maximize profitability without compromising quality or delivery timelines.
• Ensure compliance with FAR and D-FAR regulations in all supply chain activities.
• Forecast demand to ensure availability of products and resources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and improve the supply chain process.
• Develop, implement, and monitor KPIs to track performance and take corrective action as needed.
• Establish strong supplier relationships and negotiate advantageous terms.
• Train and mentor supply chain staff toward continuous improvement and operational excellence.
