Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Supply Chain/Procurement Manager for an aerospace/defense organization. You will lead procurement for large BOMs of complex electrical components and manage warehouse, planning and inventory controls to support high-mix, low-volume production.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in supply chain management in engineering/aerospace context.
• Experience managing direct reports in supply chain and operations.
• Aerospace/Defense industry experience is required.
• Experience in high-mix, low-volume environments with complex BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end supply chain: planning, warehouse, inventory control, shipping, and receiving.
• Develop cost-reduction strategies to maximize profitability without sacrificing quality or delivery timelines.
• Ensure FAR and D-FAR compliance in all supply chain activities.
• Forecast demand to prevent shortages or excess inventory and plan accordingly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and improve processes.
• Develop, monitor, and act on KPIs to track supply chain performance and drive improvements.
• Establish supplier relationships and negotiate favorable contracts.
• Train and mentor supply chain staff to foster continuous improvement.
