Job summary

Sensata is seeking a Process Engineering Technician to provide technical support to engineers for the development and launch of next-generation aerospace and defense products. The role collaborates with Process Development, Design, Quality, Test, and Manufacturing teams to support prototype builds, process development activities, qualification, and production readiness.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to analyze process data and make data-driven decisions.
• Demonstrated teamwork in fast-paced engineering environments.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Support NPD prototype builds, process development, and validation activities for aerospace and defense sensors and controls products.
• Assist Process Development Engineers with APQP deliverables, manufacturing process development, testing, and product industrialization.
• Build and test prototype hardware, collect and analyze process data, and maintain engineering documentation.
• Support qualification activity, FAI activities, production readiness reviews, and manufacturing launches.
• Collaborate across engineering, quality, operations, and program teams to successfully transition new products into production.
