Job summary

StandardAero is seeking a Process Engineer for a temporary position in Dallas, Texas, focusing on design, engineering, and technical support for MRO processes. Responsibilities include implementing repairs, managing documentation, and coordinating industrialization projects.

Candidates should have a degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, preferably with experience in aviation or related fields. The role offers comprehensive healthcare, a 401(k) match, and paid time off starting on day one.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in aviation, aerospace, manufacturing or other related industries is preferred.
• Practical experience with implementing and maintaining industrial machinery and processes.
• Experience interpreting and reviewing technical drawings.
• Working knowledge of gas turbine/accessory design theory.
• Direct experience with the CFM56-7B engine product line is preferred.
• Design and drafting skills are preferred.
• Authorization to work in the US is required.

Responsibilities

• Implement book repairs and source‑controlled repairs.
• Develop, review, and implement tooling.
• Manage technical data and repair documentation.
• Plan and manage repair industrialization projects.
• Conduct testing and evaluation.
• Interface with OEMs for technical data.
• Prepare business case evaluations.
• Execute FAI and qualification activities.
• Identify and establish improvement programs.
• Support equipment acquisition and safety.
• Provide technical support for various systems.
• Observe all applicable safety requirements.
