Steel Tool & Engineering Co. in Trenton, MI, seeks an Aerospace Precision Tooling Machinist to translate CAD drawings into tooling with CNC and manual machines. You will build, repair, and maintain tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures for aerospace production, while ensuring quality and safety standards.

The role requires strong CNC and manual machining skills, CAD reading, and a 3–5 year background in a tool room. Apprenticeship or journeyman credentials are highly valued in a precision environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a tool room or precision machining environment is required.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD/CAM files.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Aerospace Precision Tooling MachinistCompany: Steel Tool & Engineering Co. | Location: Trenton, MIIndustry: Aerospace Precision Machining & FabricationEmployment Type: Full-Time, Hourly | Shift: 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.Day in the LifeWhen you arrive at our AS9100-certified, NADCAP-accredited facility, your first stop is the tool room—where tight tolerances meet creative problem solving.
