Job summary

The Gill Corporation in Edgewood, MD is seeking a dependable fabricator to machine and form metallic and composite core materials for aerospace applications. You will operate precision fabrication equipment and follow engineering drawings to meet tight tolerances and aerospace quality standards.

This full-time role offers shifts on multiple schedules with pay ranging from $21.00 to $23.00 hourly, plus potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools.
• Strong English reading, writing and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work assigned shifts and overtime to meet production milestones.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate aerospace structural components and honeycomb/composite core materials per drawings and work orders.
• Interpret sketches and process sheets to meet close tolerances (±.001–.005 inches typical).
• Document and certify all process steps ensuring traceability.
• Perform layout, trimming, routing, chamfering, and cutting within specified tolerances.
• Use precision measurement tools for inspection.
• Operate fabrication equipment such as saws, routers, expanders, and roll formers.
• Maintain clean, organized, and FOD-free work areas; support safety policies.
• Cross-train across multiple work cells and programs as required.
