Rocket Lab Corporation in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Precision Cleaning Technician II - B Shift to join our aerospace manufacturing team. Based at Rocket Headquarters, you will clean machined flight hardware components and assemblies for Rutherford engines.

This role requires accuracy under pressure, attention to detail, and familiarity with ultrasonic cleaners, degreasers, cleanroom practices, and part labeling. The position offers the CA hourly pay range and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of precision cleaning experience in aerospace.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Proficient with following written and verbal instructions.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous detail.
• Experience with ultrasonic cleaners, degreasers, and oxygen cleaning.
• Experience bagging parts and labeling.
• Cleanroom experience.
• Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Based out of Rocket Headquarters in Long Beach, CA, perform precision cleaning of machined flight hardware and assemblies.
• Clean major Rutherford engine components, including thrust chamber and injectors; follow processes for 3D printed and machined parts.
• Maintain high level of attention to detail on production floor.
