Job summary
Our client is seeking an Electrical Power Engineer III for the Aerospace Components Division. The engineer will own New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from proposal through qualification testing and production support, influencing the development of power circuits and advancing the company’s aerospace components business in the marketplace.

Qualifications
- BS in Electrical/Electronics or Computer Engineering required; MS preferred.
- Around five years in power electronics design and development.
- Aerospace quality/control experience (AS9100) helpful.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed electrical design and development of power systems for Actuation Systems, Power Generation/Conversion/Distribution and Micro-thrust Turbines.
- Support proposals by assessing customer requirements and generating compliance matrices.
- Develop power system models from requirements to components using MATLAB/SIMULINK.
- Design power electronics cradle to grave, including PCB layout and analyses.
- Prepare customer and internal deliverables with reports and presentations.
