Job summary

The Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking a Configuration Analyst II to manage complex product configurations using PLM systems. You will ensure accurate input of Product Data, including BoMs, perform audits, and support change management in a fast‑paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2+ years in configuration management, with PLM experience. Hybrid work setup in Sparks, NV is available, with strong documentation and teaming skills

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
2+ years of experience in configuration management or related field in aerospace/defense.
Proficiency with PLM systems and configuration management principles.
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Manage and control the configuration of complex engineering and manufacturing products through a PLM system.
Ensure accurate and timely input and maintenance of Product Data, including BoMs.
Perform detailed audits and verification of product configurations for compliance with requirements and standards.
Coordinate the preparation and documentation for product structure and configuration management.
Support configuration change management, evaluating and tracking lifecycle changes.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure effective configuration control.
Maintain and manage records related to configuration management activities.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance configuration practices.
