Job summary

Chromalloy Gas Turbine, LLC is hiring an Electroplater to perform platinum electroplating and surface treatment on aerospace components. You will prepare parts, operate plating equipment, monitor process parameters, inspect finished parts, and ensure quality, safety, and customer requirements.

This role operates on the 4th shift, Friday through Sunday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, with training on 1st shift for 90 days before transitioning. Starting rate is $30.46 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Experience in manufacturing or aerospace environment.
• Ability to read technical drawings and work instructions.
• Ability to perform basic math and measurements related to plating.

Responsibilities

• Perform platinum electroplating on aerospace components per procedures.
• Prepare parts for plating via cleaning, masking, surface prep.
• Operate plating equipment and monitor process parameters.
• Inspect finished parts and verify coating quality.
• Measure coating thickness and critical dimensions.
• Perform basic calculations for plating operations.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
• Follow safety, quality, environmental, and operational procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Support production schedules while preserving quality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
