Job summary

PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking an experienced Structure & Payload Design Engineer 3 in Everett, WA.

This role focuses on developing structural and interior payload systems using 3-D CAD tools and collaborating with production and suppliers to meet program goals. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of related experience, strong problem-solving skills, and familiarity with aerospace design processes and regulatory considerations.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with 5+ years related experience or equivalent.
• Experience with aerospace interiors, cabin or cargo design strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with FAA Title 14 Part 25 and/or EASA considerations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate and document structural and interior payload system requirements to establish the system design.
• Create and modify 3-D designs to provide product definition for engineering, production, suppliers and customers.
• Perform tests to validate that systems meet requirements and specifications.
• Support supplier development, testing and production activities to optimize design and schedule.
