Job summary

Kratos Defense and Security Solutions, KUAS division, seeks skilled Painters to prepare surfaces, apply protective coatings, and inspect finished work. You will work with enamel, lacquer and polyurethane via spray gun techniques, following safety and quality guidelines.

Experience in automotive/industrial finishing is preferred. High school diploma required; U.S. citizenship may be needed for security clearance. This on-site role offers growth across Painter I–III levels.

Qualifications

• Requires high school education or equivalent.
• Preferably 2+ years of hands-on experience in an automotive or industrial finishing environment.
• Experience with aircraft finish, especially composite airframes a definite plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for paint and apply protective coatings using spray gun techniques.
• Paint production products using enamel, lacquer, polyurethane, elastomeric and related finishes.
• Operate HVLP spray guns, ovens, paint booths, pneumatic tools and related equipment.
