Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Nut Former Technician/Operator in the Los Angeles area for a leading aerospace manufacturer. You will set up and operate multi-station nut forming equipment to produce precision fasteners and components, ensuring compliance with strict customer, quality, and regulatory requirements.

The role requires experience with cold forming, machine setup, tooling adjustments, troubleshooting, and inspection of aerospace-grade parts.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
3–5 years of experience operating and setting up nut formers/cold headers or similar equipment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and adjust nut forming machines to meet production and quality requirements.
Perform complete machine changeovers and tooling installations.
Monitor machine performance and maintain dimensional accuracy and process stability.
Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment.
Troubleshoot tooling, machine, and process issues to minimize downtime.
Maintain safe working conditions and comply with aerospace quality standards.
