Job summary

22nd Century Technologies, Inc. is seeking an NDT Technician to perform non-destructive testing on various sheet metal aircraft components and to interpret findings per customer specifications.

The candidate will follow established NDT technique sheets, assist with inspections, and create/revise technique sheets as required. The role requires current FPI and radiographic/digital X-ray certifications and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• Certified in FPI, Radiographic and Digital X-Ray Inspection.
• Read manufacturing planning and engineering blueprints.
• Basic GD&T knowledge.
• Able to anticipate issues in Exotic manufacturing and NDT processes.
• General knowledge of welding and forming processes.
• Experience not required if certified and has required hours.
• Reading shop math and using precision measurement equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-destructive testing on a variety of sheet metal aircraft components.
• Perform non-destructive testing on a variety of sheet metal aircraft components.
• Process parts and interpret findings per Exotic and customer specs.
• Follow NDT technique sheets and ensure revisions meet requirements.
• Support the NDT Technician 1 and assist with inspection.
• Create and revise NDT technique sheets.
• Generate x-ray film for parts with simple and complex geometry.
