Pratt & Whitney Springdale, AR seeks an Onsite NDT Inspector specializing in Fluorescent Penetration Inspection (FPI) to inspect engine cases and verify adherence to work instructions. The role involves cleaning parts, documenting findings, and coordinating with engineering and quality teams.

The ideal candidate has a HS diploma or GED with at least 1 year of relevant experience; FPI knowledge and aviation repair exposure are preferred, along with basic MS Office and SAP familiarity.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. GED) with a minimum of 1-year of relevant experience.
• Experience in NDT methods – Fluorescent Penetration Inspection (FPI) is preferred.
• Aviation component repair experience is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office programs.
• SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform Fluorescent Penetration Inspection (FPI) on engine cases to verify conformance to work instructions and repair scope.
• Clean and process parts using FPI Booth.
• Inspect internal case structure with inspection equipment for this method.
• Prepare and complete inspection documents and reports, stamping work instructions to indicate acceptability and completion.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations as needed.
