Job summary

Data Based Development Systems is seeking an NDT Level 2 Engineer for a long-term contract with an aerospace client. The role requires NAS 410 Level 2 certification across multiple methods and the ability to develop and validate inspection techniques for complex components.

The candidate will work within a multi-disciplined team, perform onsite inspections, support offsite evaluations, and communicate results through engineering reports under schedule and budget constraints.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting and developing NDT procedures and technique sheets.
• Must work well under stress and communicate effectively under time pressure.
• Strong background in NDT of aerospace products including composites, castings, welds, braze joints.

Responsibilities

• Perform various NDT tasks to support production, development and failure analysis.
• Inspect hardware onsite and travel to support offsite evaluations.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop test plans and validate inspection setups.
