Chromalloy Gas Turbine, LLC in the United States is seeking an NDT CR/FPI Technician to perform non-destructive testing on aerospace and industrial gas turbine components using CR and FPI methods.

This role utilizes specialized inspection equipment, engineering specifications, and quality procedures to identify internal and surface discontinuities while ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and company requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of aerospace, manufacturing, quality inspection, NDT, or related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and procedures.
• Experience with quality systems, inspection documentation, and traceability.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify nonconforming conditions.
• Basic computer proficiency including MS Office.
• Ability to obtain NAS 410 certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform CR and FPI on aerospace and industrial gas turbine components.
• Set up and operate radiographic and penetrant inspection equipment.
• Verify equipment calibration and inspection parameters.
• Inspect components for internal and surface discontinuities.
• Evaluate inspection results against drawings and specifications.
• Record, evaluate, and report inspection findings.
• Identify and segregate nonconforming hardware.
• Maintain inspection records and traceability documentation.
• Assist in troubleshooting inspection equipment and image quality.
• Follow quality procedures, safety requirements, and standard work.
