Job summary

Futuramic in Michigan seeks an experienced NC Programmer to support our machining team on critical aerospace programs. You will program with Mastercam, Cimatron, and CATIA, organize toolpaths, and prepare clear setup sheets for operators.

Responsibilities include mentoring machinists, reviewing blueprints for tolerances, and solving production challenges in a high-energy environment. Expect 56-hour weeks and up to 5% travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years of machining and shop experience including set-up and programming.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Strong GD&T knowledge and blueprints interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Program with Mastercam, Cimatron, and CATIA using CAD models and drawings.
• Organize toolpaths and tooling into clear formats for operators.
• Create setup and tooling sheets for machine operators.
• Guide machinists to ensure part quality and troubleshoot alarms or errors.
• Maintain accurate data and documentation; continuously learn new software.
