Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space and Security in Tukwila, WA is seeking a Modification Electrician F&H B. You will follow lead SMEs to install, modify and test electrical systems on aircraft, including racks, panels and assemblies.

This role requires 1+ year of electrical testing/troubleshooting, ability to read schematics, and the ability to obtain U.S. Secret clearance. The position is union-represented under IAM 751 with first shift and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in complete operational testing of electrical systems.
• 1+ year of experience in electronics or electrical troubleshooting.
• Experience reading and interpreting system prints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Follow guidance from lead and senior SMEs.
• Remove, replace, or install equipment racks, power panels and aircraft components/assemblies.
• Perform bond and ground testing to ensure electrical ground between aircraft systems.
• Perform wire routing and wire terminations.
• Perform soldering.
• Perform pre- and post-testing of electrical systems.
• Obtain and verify parts issued correctly and are defect-free.
• Perform lock out, tag out, and safety checks.
• Work with military customers to ensure compliance with BDS policies.
