KBR, Inc. in Greenbelt, MD seeks a Multi-Layer Insulation (MLI) Technician to support NASA flight projects through design, fabrication, installation, and closeout of thermal blankets and related MLI hardware in a highly controlled aerospace environment.

You will work with project, engineering, quality, contamination control, and customer teams to meet mission requirements while maintaining safe, compliant work areas and following procedures.

Formación

• Experience supporting MLI, thermal blanket, or related flight hardware activities.
• Ability to read and follow technical procedures, drawings, and project requirements.
• Knowledge of contamination control practices and cleanroom or controlled-environment work.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technician support for MLI design, fabrication, installation, and closeout.
• Support thermal blanket design, construction, installation, and project closeout activities.
• Follow NASA GSFC procedures for contamination control and materials handling.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and manage equipment and consumables.
• Coordinate with project monitors, engineers, and stakeholders in a multi-contractor environment.
• Prepare and support reporting as required by the project.
