Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift Certification preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Verifies stock to work order requirements (alloy, temper, gauge, size, producer, lot no, and grain direction).
• Sets up saw and prepares parts for cutting.
• Cuts and verifies parts are within customer tolerances using micrometer and caliper.
• Performs daily and weekly maintenance on the metal saw.
• Operates forklift and overhead crane, as required.
• Performs in-process and final inspection of parts.
