Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products is seeking a Metallurgy Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in Chittenango, NY. This on-site internship offers hands-on experience in the metallurgy of cast superalloys, the investment casting process, and aerospace quality requirements.

You will work with industry experts, analyze data, prepare technical reports, and apply PDCA and A3 problem-solving to drive process improvements while maintaining thorough documentation and safety.

Qualifications

• Currently an Engineering student with at least two years of college coursework completed.
• Strong interest in solidification, metallurgy, chemistry and thermodynamics.
• Able to analyze data and operate independently or in a team.
• Safety-conscious and compliant with policies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with metallurgists, engineers, and lab technicians to improve processes.
• Assist in reviewing metallurgical, process, and dimensional trials for improvements and cost savings.
• Analyze test results, summarize data, and help prepare technical reports.
