Job summary

Air National Guard Units seeks a Health Technician (Title 5), GS-0640-08, to support Aerospace Medicine and Force Health Management programs. The role encompasses planning, medical readiness, flight medicine and related data systems within the VA 192 FTR WG.

The incumbent will advise leaders on force health issues, oversee physical exams and deployability assessments, and coordinate MEB/PEB processes with military facilities. A Secret clearance is required and applications close 2026-10-07.

Qualifications

• Graduate education or internship related to the work may meet the specialized experience requirements for higher grades.
• One full year of graduate education may satisfy the 1-year requirement if the school determines the credit hours correspond to full-time study.

Responsibilities

• Develops plans, procedures, goals and objectives for aerospace medicine and force health management programs.
• Advises senior officials on force health issues related to physical exams, standards and flight medicine activities.
