Job summary

RTX is seeking engineering interns and co-ops to join the Precision Control and Actuation Systems group in a collaborative, onsite environment. You will work with engineers across the program to design, test, and implement motion-control solutions for aerospace applications.

The role emphasizes hands-on mechanical design, modeling, and analysis using CREO, MATLAB, and Python. Security clearance is required for some positions; relocation and benefits are discussed during hiring.

Qualifications

Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related (STEM) major.
Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session.
Experience utilizing CAD tools such as CREO or equivalent.
Experience with Engineering Analysis and Simulation software and programming tools such as MATLAB and Python.
Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

Work with cross-functional teams to provide innovative motion-control solutions.
Contribute to mechanical design and development activities in projects.
