Job summary

A leading technology firm in Fort Walton Beach is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to design and optimize mechanical systems for unmanned aircraft and aerospace applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design and analysis, ideally with experience in aerospace systems. This position offers a competitive salary range of $115,000 to $150,000 along with a comprehensive benefits package including 401k and generous paid time off.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience in aerospace mechanical systems, including 2+ years on unmanned aircraft.
• Proficient in CAD and mechanical design software.
• Strong knowledge of aerospace certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical components and systems for UAS and aerospace vehicles.
• Conduct stress and fatigue analysis on structures.
• Collaborate on system integration with electrical and software engineers.
