Job summary

Parker Aerospace, part of Parker Hannifin Corporation, seeks a Mechanical Engineering Intern (Aerospace) to assist in tool design, process instructions and engineering projects. You will collaborate with engineers on design and production of parts and help optimize processes on the shop floor in Exotic Metals Forming Division.

Eligible students are in mechanical or materials engineering (sophomore–senior) with CAD exposure.

Qualifications

• Requires sophomore, junior, or senior standing in mechanical or materials engineering program.

Responsibilities

• Assist with simple tool design and writing process instructions.
• Provide technical support and problem solving on production projects.
• Work with Engineers and Manufacturing Engineers on design and production of parts.
• Assist in optimizing engineering processes on the shop floor.
